THE WES SANTO BAND

Wes Santo brings his funky and solful style of bass playing to his new project: "The Wes Santo Band".  At age 13, Wes Santo picked up a bass for the first time.  His influences grew to include Cliff Burton, Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Flea, and Jaco Pastorius.  Although he considers himself a bass player first, his musical talent extends to drums, guitar, and vocals.  Over the past 10 years he has played the tri-state area in various bands and productions canstantly honing a sound of his own.  The Wes Santo Band combines a unique blend of rock, funk, reggae, and soul music to create a very distinct sound.

SWAMPADELICA

Swampadelica is something of a musical reverse migration.  Beginning with the current sounds of rock and hip-hop, traveling to the Gulf states with funk and early American blues, down thru the Caribbean with Haitian Kreyol, ending up back in Africa via Nadine LaFond's African vocal styles and hindehoo-ing.  These flavors come together particularly well on Swampadelica's latest album, "S'AC PASSE'?" which is being released July 22nd on Sidewards Records.  "S'AC PASSE'?" is a Haitian Kreyol greeting meaning "What's going on?" to which the traditional response is "N'ap Boule!", or "Our fire is burning!".
Indeed it is, and others are catching on.  Swamp's Nadine LaFond will be appearing on Phish bassist Mike Gordon's new album being released on August 5th and the band will be appearing at Moe.Down #9 later this summer.
BERNIE WORRELL

Bernie was a child prodigy who began studying piano at the tender age of three, performed this first Classical Concert at age four, and performed with the Washington Symphony Orchestra at ten.  His classical studies included private lessons at the Juilliard School of Music, before he entered the New England Conservatory of Music, majoring in Classical Piano.
Simply stated, Bernie Worrell is a Master Keyboardist, a founding member of Parliament/Funkadelic and keyboard wizard whose liquid lines deftly steered P-Funk straight to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.
Besides this critically-acclaimed tenure with Talking Heads, Bernie's long list of collaborators has included Keith Richards, Buckethead, Jack Bruce, The Pretenders, Bill Laswell, The Last Poets, Les Claypool (Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains), Dave Stewart, and Gov't Mule.

"All or Nothing" is an all girl band that was formed in December 2007.  Their music style and songs (which they call Rock/Pop) are all written by Alexa Warshany and played collectively by the band.
In February, the band competed in a Battle of the Bands at Penns Landing in Philadelphia and won.  This landed them in an opening spot in the Labor Day Weekend Concert in the Great Plaza at Penns Landing.
The girls all agree that they owe a great deal to their guitar instructor, Joe Stuby, whom theycredit as being one of their inspirations.  You can catch up with the band and all of their projects and shows at:
